2.3.2 BLENDING

Blend food in 10-second cycles, and
never
exceed

continuous blending. Before blending
the meat and fish, make sure the
maximum quantity does not exceed
100 g at any one time! The food
should be cooked by steam first at
least for one cycle before being
blended!
1. Remove all hard parts from the steamed
ingredients (e.g. bones, stones from
hard-shelled fruit). Then tip the steamed
ingredients from the basket directly into
the bowl.
Note: Ensure that the blending blade has
been fitted before adding the ingredients.
2. Apply the lid to the bowl and turn it anti-
clockwise until it locks into place
(Figure 6).
3. Place the bowl on the base unit and
secure it with a quarter turn anti-
clockwise (Figure 7).
4. Connect the device to the power supply.
5. Turn the rotary switch to the left or right,
depending on the desired speed setting.
(Figure 11).

: Turn rotary switch to right - more
textured purée
Note: When blending, the consistency of
the purée should be controlled through
the addition of liquid as it may otherwise
stick to the walls of the bowl.
6. Repeat step 5 until you have achieved
the desired consistency. Then disconnect
the device from the power supply.
If necessary, use the spatula to achieve
optimum blending results (Figure 14).
7. Remove the bowl from the base unit with
a quarter turn clockwise (Figure 8).
8. Remove the lid with a quarter turn
clockwise and lift it up (Figure 4). Remove
the purée from the bowl. If necessary,

use the spatula to scrape out the bowl
(Figure 13).
9. Clean the spatula and attach it to the rear
of the base unit (Figure 12).
You can blend the ingredients from the
baskets separately, one after the other.

temperature of the prepared food

Risk of choking! Always check the
consistency of the prepared food to

ensure that it is suitable for your
baby.
Note: If the blade is blocked by the puréed
mass, you must always disconnect the
device from the power supply before
attending to the blockage.

2.3.3 HEATING

The procedure for heating meals is the same
as for steaming (section 2.3.1). During
step 2, ensure that the water reservoir is
only filled up to level 1. The approximate
heating time is 10 minutes.

2.3.4 DEFROSTING

The procedure for defrosting frozen meals is
the same as for steaming (section 2.3.1).
During step 2, ensure that the water
reservoir is only filled up to level 1. The
approximate defrosting time is 14 minutes.
Unused condensed water can be disposed
of.
Note: The device is not suitable for
defrosting liquid foods (e.g. breast milk).
