1. Place the machine on a fl at sur-
face and fi ll the tank with cold wa-
ter. (The machine must not be used
with empty tank!) Plug the power
cord into the mains. Turn the selec-
tor dial to the ON position.
4. Insert the fi lter holder into posi-
tion. Place one or two cups on the
drip grid. The heating is fi nished
and the machine is ready to make
espresso when the green heating
indicator light turns on. Turn the
selector dial to

2. When starting the machine for
the fi rst time, place a bowl on the
drip grid. When the green light
turns on, the heating is fi nished.

through the machine to rinse out
the heating system.
5. Espresso begins to fl ow through
the coff ee outlet – turn the selector
dial to OFF position when you have
reached a desired amount. (The
heating indicator light turns on and
off , as the thermostat is keeping

3. Choose fi lter for one or two cups,
put it in the fi lter holder and fi ll it
with ground coff ee (one scoop for
single espresso, two scoops for dou-
position ble). Press ground coff ee fi rmly into
the fi lter using the tamper.
6. After the brewing you can remove
the fi lter holder. Twist it to the left
and out of the retainer. Remove
used coff ee grounds from the fi lter
by tapping it lightly against the
edge of a waste basket. Take out the
fi lter, clean it with water and dry it
with a cloth.
