Put on the fl oor cleaning cloth and the carpet glider

Use

❐ Before each use, check the fl oor cleaning cloth to be free from wear. It mustn't be
used when it's wear! Your fl ooring could be damaged!
❐ In order to avoid scratches on your surface, take care that the fl oor cleaning cloth
remains attached on the cleaning foot.
❐ Never point the steam at one place for more than 10 seconds.
❐ Never point the steam in the direction of other persons, animals or at utilities with
electrical components (e. g. ovens, fridges, switches and lamps, microwaves etc.).
❐ Never touch the underside of the steam cleaner while using it.
❐ Attention! The cleaning foot must never be held at an angle of greater than 45°
against the fl oor. Otherwise hot water could spatter out!
❐ The fl oor cleaning cloth still is very hot shortly after it's use. Allow it to cool down
for 5 minutes, when you want to take it off.
❐ Always allow the device to cool down before storing it in a safe place.
• Before using the device, you might sweep the fl oor with a broom or vacuum-clean.
• Water residue in the fi lter and the tank can be traced back to the fact that this
device has been tested after the fabrication.
• During initial use, you'll hear a pumping noise, because all of the relevant steam
cleaner parts has to be fi lled with water. You can accelerate this process by
pressing the steam trigger a number of times. When you use the device for
the second time the fi lter and feed lines will already be fi lled with water. If
the noise doesn't disappear after 30 to 60 seconds, please refer to section
"Troubleshooting".
• For winding up the cable, turn the cable retainer clockwise. Put the plug into a
mains socket, which complies with the device's technical data (230 V AC, 50 Hz).
The red control lamp shines, when the supply voltage is reached.

1. For putting on the fl oor cleaning cloth, stick the cleaning foot
into the fl oor cleaning cloth.
2. Tighten the covering with the cord by pushing the button and
pulling the cord. For cleaning your carpets, simply put the
cleaning foot of the device on the carpet glider (13).
