4.4.4 Setting up a ventilation unit as
a SLAVE
Applicability: VAZ RCW
Conditions: The ventilation unit is on the opposite
side to the MASTER
▶
Press the button for ventilation (5) twice
in order to set up a ventilation unit as a
SLAVE.
– The ventilation unit now has the op-
posite ventilation direction to the
MASTER.
Conditions: The ventilation unit is on the same side
as the MASTER
▶
Press the button for aeration (6) twice
in order to set up a ventilation unit as a
SLAVE.
– The ventilation unit now has the
same ventilation direction as the
MASTER.
4.4.5 Resetting the product to the
factory settings
Applicability: VAZ RCW
If required, you can reset the product to
the factory settings in order to set up a
ventilation unit again as a MASTER or
SLAVE. Existing assignments are deleted
when you do this.

Switch off the product.
▶
Initialise the product .
4.4.6 Eliminating any set-up faults
Applicability: VAZ RCW
Conditions: The ventilation units do not communic-
ation with each other
OR: The ventilation unit cannot be set up as the
MASTER nor as a SLAVE
▶
Reset the ventilation unit to the factory
settings. (→ Page 107)

Reassign the code to the ventilation
unit. (→ Page 106)

4.4.7 Resetting the LED
▶
To reset the LED after the unit has been
cleaned, switch the MASTER off and on
again.
◁
Wait until the LED changes from red
to red/white.
▶
Press the following buttons within
10 seconds.
– Press the button for the lowest air
humidity level twice.
– Press the button for the medium air
humidity level twice.
– Press the button for the maximum air
humidity level twice.
5 Troubleshooting
Conditions: Ventilation units do not work
▶
Switch off the product.
▶
Ensure that the fan unit is correctly
mounted on the wall-mounting frame
and the contact for the plug connection
has been established.
Conditions: The remote control and MASTER do
not communicate with each other
▶
Shorten the radio link to less than 15 m.
Conditions: Ventilation units only work in night
mode
▶
Ensure that the MASTER is not
covered.
