Dust/Chip Extraction
Dust is generated while working that can be det
rimental to health, inflammable or explosive.
Suitable protective measure are required.
For example: Some types of dust are considered
to be carcinogenic. Use suitable dust vacuuming
and wear a dust protection mask.
Integrated Dust Extraction
(see Figure )

Slide the vacuuming adapter 29 over the sawdust
ejector 43.
Press the clamp tabs on the dust bag 1 together and
slide the dust bag over the vacuuming adapter.
Release the clamp tabs on the dust bag.
The dust bag and the vacuuming adapter should never
come in contact with the moving parts while sawing.
Empty the dust bag regularly.
External Dust Extraction
For vacuuming, a vacuum cleaner hose (32 mm ∅ ) can
also be connected to the vacuuming adapter.
The vacuum cleaner must be suitable for the material
to be worked.
When vacuuming dry dust that is especially detrimen
tal to health or carcinogenic, use a special vacuum
cleaner.
Enlarging the Fence
(see Figure )

Before all work on the machine, pull the mains
plug.
Especially large profiles require a higher fence for bet
ter holding. For this purpose, four drillings (5 mm dia.)
are provided on the fence 9 for the mounting of wood
en strips.
This auxiliary fence may be used only for
0° mitre cuts. The function of the electro
tool (especially of the swinging guard)
must not be impaired.
Screw the wooden strips (max. height 80 mm) onto
the fence. The screw heads must be flush with the
wood surface or countersunk.

Extending the Saw Table
(see Figure

Before all work on the machine, pull the mains
plug.
At maximum horizontal mitre and vertical bevel angles,
the saw table must be extended.
Long work pieces must be supported at the free end.
Loosen the two socket head screws 19 with the Allen
key 32 (6 mm) provided.
Pull out the saw table extension 21 to the stop and
retighten the socket head screws.
Clamping the Work Piece

Before all work on the machine, pull the mains
plug.
To ensure optimum working safety, the work piece
must always be firmly clamped.
Do not work with work pieces that are too small to
clamp.
Press the work piece firmly against the fence 9.
Insert the screw clamp 22 provided into one of the
drillings 31 intended for it. Clamp the work piece by
tightening the threaded rod of the clamp.
Adjusting the Mitre Angle
Before all work on the machine, pull the mains
plug.
To ensure precise cuts, the basic adjustments of the
electro tool must be checked and adjusted as neces
sary after intensive use (see Section „Checking and
Adjusting Basic Adjustment").

For quick and precise setting of often used mitre an
gles, detents 16 are provided on the saw table:

Place the machine in the working position.
Loosen the locking knob 13 in case it is tightened.
Pull the lever 14 and turn the saw table 17 to the de
sired mitre angle to the right or the left. Release the le
ver. The lever must be felt to engage in the detent.
