Before using the article for the fi rst time, please read through the
instructions carefully and store them in a safe place.

Intended Use
■
This article is suitable for sweeping and wet cleaning of all
kinds of surfaces (fl oors, stairs etc.).
■
Do not use the article to pick up:
– highly fl ammable or combustible liquids,
– glowing or burning ash,
– matches or cigarettes.
■
The article is designed for personal use only and is not intend-
ed for commercial applications. Only use it as described in the
operating instructions. Any other use is deemed to be improper.
■
The following are excluded from the warranty: all defects caused
by improper handling, damage or unauthorised attempts at re-
pair. This also applies to normal wear and tear.
Important Instructions

Keep children and animals away from the packaging material.
There is a danger of suffocation!

Only use accessories from the manufacturer.
■
Do not drop the article or subject it to severe impacts.
■
Maintain a suffi cient distance from sources of heat such as
hobs, ovens, fi replaces or naked fl ames etc.

Do not expose the article to extreme temperatures, strong tem-

Before Initial Use
•
Unpack all parts and remove all protective fi lms and stickers
that may be present. Check the items supplied for possible
transport damage. If you should fi nd any transport damage, do
not use the article(!), but contact the customer service depart-
ment immediately.

Assemble the fl oor sweeper:
1. Screw the 4 parts of the stem to one another.
2. Screw the stem onto the dirt container.
3. If you have not already assembled it, insert the dirt con-
tainer into the cleaning foot. It must engage audibly.
Use
1. For wet cleaning of the fl oor, make the cleaning cloth slightly
damp and attach it to the bottom of the cleaning foot using the
Velcro fasteners. If you want to dry-sweep the fl oor, a cleaning
cloth is not required.
2. Slide the cleaning foot backwards and forwards over the fl oor.
The dirt is taken up by the rotating blades and collected in the
dirt container on the bottom of the cleaning foot.
3. Empty the dirt container after each use by holding down the
release button on the cleaning foot and pulling out the dirt con-
tainer on the stem. Empty the dirt container and wipe down the
dirt container with a damp cloth if necessary.
4. Clean the cleaning cloth after each use. Follow the instructions
on the washing label.
Cleaning
CAUTION!

Do not use corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents or cleaning
pads for cleaning.
■
Only ever dry the cleaning cloth in the air, and never use a tum-
ble dryer or a hair dryer to do this.

Clean the fl oor sweeper with a damp cloth and mild detergent
if necessary.

The cleaning cloth can be washed in the washing machine at
no more than 30°C. Do not use any fabric softener as this

can reduce the suction of the cleaning cloth! Please follow
the instructions on the washing label on the cleaning cloth.
Then allow the cleaning cloth to dry in the air.
Disposal
The packaging material is recyclable. Please dispose of it
in an environmentally friendly manner and take it to a re-
cycling centre. Dispose of the article in an environmen-
tally friendly manner as well. You can obtain more infor-
mation from your local authorities.
