5.3.4 Error message / Troubleshooting
• Repairs may only be carried out by authorised Torqeedo Service Centers.
Any attempts of unauthorized repairs or modification will entail loss of
warranty.
• Please note that opening the pylon and/or the inner shaft head cover
will entail loss of warranty.
• In warranty cases please follow the warranty instructions at the top of
the operating manual.

What to do
Motor can be used again after a short wait about 10 mi-
nutes). Contact Torqeedo Service.
Switch main switch to "OFF" position, then remove
blockage and turn propeller one revolution by hand.
Reconnect motor cable.
Low battery charging status. Motor can potentially be used
again slowly from the stop position.
Continue at low output.
Motor can be used again after a short wait about 10 mi-
nutes). Contact Torqeedo Service.
• Re-calibrate: Press "cal" button for 10 seconds.
• The display shows "cal up": Press tiller forward to full
gas then press the "cal" button.
• The display shows "cal stp": Return tiller to central posi-
tion then press the "cal" button.
• The display shows "cal dn": Press tiller backward to full
gas then press the "cal" button.

Check the motor cable's plug-in connection. Check the
motor cable for damage.
Check the plug-in connections. Check the cable.
Check the plug-in connections and cables. Switch the
motor off and on again.
Use a Torqeedo power supply. If the error occurs in spite
of using a Torqeedo power supply, wait untill the battery
dissipates the overcharge. Should the error persist please
contact Torqeedo Service.
Charge battery. Motor can potentially be used again slowly
from the stop position.
Switch motor off and on again. If this error occurs the
battery status indicator and range display can no longer
operate until the battery has been fully charged again.
