1 Information about these instructions
Read these instructions carefully before beginning operation with your
HomeMatic components.
Keep the instructions handy for later consultation!
Please hand over the operating manual as well when you hand over the
device to other persons for use.

2 Hazard information
Do not open the device: it does not contain any components that
need to be serviced by the user.
The device may only be operated indoors and must be protected
from the effects of damp and dust, as well as from solar and
other methods of heat radiation.
3 Function
This wireless infrared motion detector picks up movements made by
people and other warm-blooded animals. Decoding circuitry converts the
detected status into HomeMatic wireless commands.
The motion detector can be used in security applications and to control
lights.
Features and functions*:
• Range of up to 12 m, detection range of main lens 90 degrees
• Creep zone protection thanks to an additional 360-degree lens
• Variable brightness level for tripping and variable responsiveness
• Brief changes in the level of brightness are filtered out
