9. Enter the desired password in "New password" and confi rm by pressing "New password
confi rm".
10. Click "Start" to perform the encryption.
11. The fl ash memory is now partitioned into two drives (1 x encrypted, 1 x unencrypted).
The program "MP3 Player Disk Manager" has a help function. Click "Help" to
access this function.
Memory info
Select this menu item to display the percentage of occupied storage space.
Firmware version
Select this menu item to display the version number and release date of the fi rmware.
Exit
If you have selected this menu item, press the "M" button to go to the main menu.
10. Playback
Using the fast-forward or rewind button, select the "MSC" symbol to go to playback mode.
The table displays an overview of the basic playback functions.

• Cette fonction vous permet de défi nir si les fi chiers apparaissant dans la fenêtre de
dialogue de l'écran de votre ordinateur lorsque le lecteur MP3 y est branché sont codés
et/ou non codés.
• Choisissez à l'aide de la touche d'avance rapide "Multi lect", "Normal slt" ou "Encrypté", et
confi rmez votre choix à l'aide de la touche "M".
Le CD inclus contient le programme "MP3 Player Disk Manager", à l'aide duquel
vous pouvez encoder une partie de la mémoire Flash interne. Pour cela, procédez
comme suit :
1. Reliez le lecteur MP3 à un port USB haute puissance libre de votre ordinateur.
2. Prenez soin de sauvegarder vos fi chiers avant de formater le lecteur MP3, afi n de ne pas
perdre de données.
3. Insérez le CD, ouvrez le fi chier „setup.exe" dans le dossier „EndUserTools_4-3601" et
suivez les instructions d'installation.
4. Une fois l'installation réussie, vous trouverez dans votre liste le programme „MP3 Player
Utilities 4.3601" avec le sous-programme „MP3 Player Disk Manager".
5. Ouvrez le programme „MP3 Player Disk Manager".

6. Choisissez sous l'onglet „Format" le lecteur MP3 et cliquez sur „Start" pour formater le
lecteur (voir la fi gure „Format").
7. Indiquez sous l'onglet „Partition and Encrypt" la taille de l'espace mémoire devant être
encodé (voir la fi gure „Partition and Encrypt „).
