Backlight
• Increase how long the display is illuminated by pressing the fast-forward button; press the
rewind button to decrease it.
• You can set a duration between 0 and 30 seconds, in 3 second increments.
Language
• Navigate through the menu by pressing the fast-forward button (right) and rewind (to the
left left) button.
• You can select between 18 different languages: Simplifi ed Chinese, Traditional Chinese,
English, Japanese, Korean, French, German, Italian, Dutch , Portuguese, Spanish,
Swedish, Czech, Polish, Russian, Thai, Greek and Danish.
Power off
To switch off the device automatically, you can choose between two items: "Off time" and
"Sleep time".
• "Off time": Lets you defi ne the length of idle time until the device automatically switches off.
- Using the fast-forward and rewind buttons, you can set a time ranging from 0 to 60
seconds, in 10 second increments.
- Set the value to "0" to deactivate the automatic off function.
• "Sleep time": Lets you defi ne the length of playback time until the device automatically
switches off.
- Using the fast-forward and rewind buttons, you can set a time ranging from 0 to 120
minutes, in 10 minute increments.
- Set the value to "0" to deactivate the automatic off function.
Contrast
• Increase the brightness of the display by pressing the fast-forward button; press the rewind
button to decrease the brightness.
• Enter the values on a scale of 1 (dark) to 15 (bright).
Online mode
Please note that the encryption of fi les will only work under Windows® XP and
older versions. Windows® Vista™ and Windows® 7 are not supported.
• This function allows you to defi ne whether encrypted and/or unencrypted fi les are
displayed in the dialog window on the computer screen when the MP3 player is connected
to the computer.

• Vous avez le choix entre sept confi gurations sonores : Natural, Rock, Pop, Classique,
Doux, Jazz et Basses.
• Choisissez-en une à l'aide de la touche d'avance ou de retour rapide et confi rmez votre
sélection à l'aide de la touche "M".
Rejouer
Cette fonction vous permet de répéter en boucle une partie d'un morceau.
1. Sélectionnez-la à l'aide de la touche „M".
2. Dans l'écran de lecture le symbole „A-B" apparaît en haut au milieu. Le „A" clignote.
3. Appuyez sur la touche „Avance rapide „ pour défi nir le début de la boucle. C'est maintenant
le „B" qui clignote.
4. Appuyez à nouveau sur la touche d'avance rapide au moment auquel vous souhaitez
terminer la boucle.
5. Cette dernière est alors répétée autant de fois que le nombre que vous spécifi ez dans
„Rejouer x".
6. Vous pouvez également interrompre plus tôt la boucle A-B à l'aide de la touche „M". La
lecture du morceau reprend ensuite normalement.
