Electrical safety
CAUTION!
Danger when touching voltage con-
ducting parts!
Disconnect the plug from the mains if the
extension cable is damaged or severed!
We recommend connecting a RCD (re-
sidual current operated device) having a
nominal residual current of < 30 mA.
The house mains voltage must agree with the
details quoted in the technical data, do not
use any other supply voltage.
Use only extension cables that are suitable
for use outdoors - minimum cross-section
1.5 mm
. Cable drums should always be un-

rolled completely.
Damaged or brittle extension cables must not
be used.
Check the condition of your extension
cable each time you start to use the
equipment.

ASSEMBLY

CAUTION!
Do not operate the machine until it has
been fully assembled.
Initial steps
1. Remove all the parts from the packaging.
2. Check all parts for transport damage.
If you discover damage or if there are
parts missing, contact the dealer where
you purchased the machine immedia-
tely.
Lower handle installation
see Figure 2
1. Insert the lower handle into the guide so that
the guide holes line up both sides.
2. Insert the threaded hooks inwards from the
outside through the guide holes.
3. Tighten on both sides using the lock nuts.
The lower handle is now attached.
Attaching the guide handle
see Figure 3
1. Place the upper handle onto the lower handle
on the outside.
2. Insert the screws outwards from the inside
through the guide holes.

3. Tighten on both sides using the lock nuts.
4. Secure the power cable to the cable holders.
The guide handle is now attached.
Mounting the hand crank
The hand crank is used to adjust the discharge
direction.
see Figure 4
1. Insert the hand crank through the guide on the
centre part.
2. Insert the hand crank into the holder on the
snow discharge and secure with split pin.
3. Bend over the ends of the split pin using
pliers.
The hand crank is now attached.
Attaching the snow discharge chute
see Figure 5
1. Unscrew and remove the lock bolts from the
snow discharge chute.
2. Insert the lock bolt from the outside through
the guide hole in the snow discharge chute.
3. Put the rubber washer on from the inside.
4. Screw the lock bolt with snow discharge chute
and rubber washer onto the discharge chute
again.
5. Do the same on the other side.
The snow discharge chute is now atta-
ched.

STARTUP

Use the machine and the extension ca-
ble only in perfect working order. Dama-
ged equipment may not be operated.
Do not disable safety and protective de-
vices!
Please observe the safety and warning noti-
ces in this manual and on the product.
Remove foreign objects from the working
area.
Keep others away from dangerous areas.
Work only when there is adequate daylight or
artificial lighting.
