• Children may not play with the device. Cleaning and maintenance may not
be carried out by children without supervision.
• This device designed with protection class II. Du not leave vessels with liquids
e.g. vases or plants, on or near the charger. Liquids might get into the housing
and impair the electrical safety. This would cause a high risk of fire or electro-
cution! If liquid has penetrated the interior of the device, immediately switch
off the mains socket to which the device is connected by switching off the
fuse or the circuit breaker. Only then pull the plug out of the mains socket and
contact a specialist. Do not operate the product any longer.
• Avoid the following adverse environmental conditions during use, transport
or storage:
– wetness or excessive humidity
– extreme cold or heat
– direct sun exposure
– dust or flammable gases, vapours or solvents
– strong vibrations
– strong magnetic fields, such as mere machines or loudspeakers
• The device may not be operated in environments with high dust, combustible
gases, combustible vapours or solvents. There is a risk of explosion or fire!
• Make sure that the device and the battery are placed in a well ventilated area
during charging. Never cover the charger and the battery.
• Never place objects in any openings of the housing, as this may result in a
risk of electrocution.
• If the device is taken from a cold environment to a warm room, condensation
may occur. Before using the device, allow it to reach room temperature. This
may take several hours. Condensation can be hazardous and destroy the
device or cause electrocution.
• Never handle the device with damp or wet hands. There is the danger of
electrocution.
• Make sure that the charging cable does not touch hot surfaces, is not squee-
zed or damaged by sharp edges.
• Do not use this product if it is damaged. There is a danger of electrocution!
