directions.
Do not put any articles made of flammable materials (see the table below) on the
appliance and within the distances smaller than the safe distance. In case you do not know
the combustibility grade follow the distance defined for grade C

The fireplace insert must be installed in such a way that the expansion of the insert is
guaranteed (we recommend 5 mm). The walls adjacent to the fireplace insert must be non-
flammable. The shell of the hot air chamber must be made of the non-flammable materials
and must be heat-insulated on the internal side. The insulation and used structural
elements must be made of materials that do not release the detrimental products owing to
higher temperatures.
The hot-air chamber must be ventilated through a not fully closable opening with a
grate and the upper edge of the hot-air chamber opening must be situated at least 450 mm
under the ceiling. The hot-air chamber must be accessible in order to check and clean the
flue gas ducting.
The regulation grates of the combustion air, vent air and heating air must be
positioned in such a way that they cannot get clogged.
Before the fireplace insert putting in operation the flue-gas way must be inspected and
tested before closing the flue-gas way with the shell of the hot-air chamber. Only a
qualified person e.g. a chimney sweeper's company can carry out these activities. The
inspection result must be recorded in the flue-gas way revision report.
The fireplace inserts installation is very demanding therefore we recommend that only
the specialised and duly trained building companies or chimney sweeper's and stove-
fitter's companies are entrusted with this installation.
