„Battery Law" notice (BattG):
The device associated with this operating manual contains
1 rechargeable Lithium battery (400mAh, DC3, 7V) in delivery
condition. This battery can be recharged up to 300 times.
If the battery is not rechargeable any more you can send the
device to ACE Instruments. There the battery can be exchanged
against a new one in the Service Laboratory of ACE (the costs
for this service can be found on www.ace-instruments.net).
Please note: Used batteries may contain harmful substances
that can cause environmental or health damage. Please return
all depleted batteries to electrical appliance stores, who collect
them for free. Battery recycling is the easiest lesson in environ-
mental protection - so please support it!
The shown garbage bins mean that batteries or rechargeable
batteries must not be thrown into the household waste. The
signs below the garbage bins are acronyms for the chemical
substances inside the battery:
Calibration:
To maintain the measurement accuracy of this breathalyzer
it should be calibrated regularely. You can send the device
for a calibration service to ACE Instruments
(see www.ace-instruments.net). The calibration is not mandatory,
but the measurement accuracy will decrease steadily without it.
