Vacuum cooking (Sous-vide)
Sous-vide or vacuum cooking means you vacuum food in a plastic bag and cook them in a water bath at low
temperatures, typically at 55-65 °C. The appliance controls the temperature constantly with its thermostat.
Only use this appliance for preparing vacuumed food in water and not on the food directly (soup an the like).
Usage
1. Fill the container with water. Fill the water container with water, using the water
level indicator on the device, the water level should be between the MIN and
MAX indicated on the front of the circulator. As Archimedes taught us, the water
level will rise when you add food to the container, so do not fill it up too high. Clip
the stick to the side of the pot.
Note: As the water temperature increases, the water will begin to evaporate. The circula-
tor is equipped with an alarm indicating a low water level, if the water level goes below
the MIN mark, the circulator will shut off.
2. Press the appliance screen. Press the power button ON/OFF on the screen
fore more than five seconds. The first line display will then show the setting
temperature of the water, the second line is the current temperature. The third line show the set time and
work time. Press the button ON/OFF and SET for two seconds at same time to change the °C and °F.
3. Setting the cooking time and temperature.
Press 1 x SET: set hour
Press 2 x SET: set minute
Setting the time: If the display for hour and minute flashes, turn the wheel on
the handle of the device to set the time. Maximum time settings are 59:59 h.
Setting the temperature: When the hour and minute flash in the display, you
can turn the to adjust it. The set temp you can adjust any time except the dis-
play set time flash. Maximum temperature setting is 95 °C or 203 °F.
4. Cook your food. Press the power one time to begin heating and circulating
the water, put the food into the container when the temperature arrive your setting temperature.
5. When the water temperature arrive the set temperature . The appliance will be sound "DDD" every
three seconds. It informs you to put the foods in it. You need press the"SET"two seconds to cancel
the sound . Meanwhile, if you set the time, it will start the work time and display it after one minute.
After having pressed SET, the display on the bottom right above "work time" will count up the set cooking
time with the hours on the left and the minutes on the right.
6. When you finish the cooking. The time arrives the set time. The appliance also sound"DDD". Every three
seconds . It informs you to take out the food to cook . You can press the"SET"two seconds to cancel the
sound .
