Please read through the operating instructions carefully before using
for the first time.
RISK OF SUFFOCATION! Keep all packaging materials out of the reach
of babies and children. Make sure that all packaging materials are
disposed of in a responsible manner. You can find out further
information about collection points and recycling from your local
authority.
RISK OF INJURY! Only plug the appliance into the mains socket after
you have assembled the appliance and just before you use it.
ATTENTION! Only use fresh drinking water in the appliance. Other
liquids could damage the appliance beyond repair.
Unscrew the lid (3) by turning it in an anticlockwise direction.

Fill the appliance with water to the 'Max' mark, close the lid and boil the water once, as described in the 'USING THE

APPLIANCE' section.
Pour this water away once it has boiled.

Rinse the inside of the appliance out with clean water.
4.
Refill the appliance with water, up to the "Max" mark.
5.
Boil the water, then pour it away.
6.
Rinse the inside of the appliance out with clean water.
7.
This appliance is now ready for use.

USING THE APPLIANCE
RISK OF INJURY! Make sure that the appliance is not filled above the
'Max' mark. Contents that splash out could cause scalding.
RISK OF INJURY! Only fill the appliance with fresh drinking water.
Always empty out old water to prevent the growth of bacteria. Never
use water that has not been designated safe to drink. This could put
YOUR HEALTH AT RISK.
ATTENTION! Only use the appliance with the original base (6) with
which it was supplied.
RISK OF BURNING! The main body of the appliance gets particularly
hot. For this reason, only hold the appliance using the handle (4).
RISK OF BURNING! Do not tip the appliance backwards as this may
cause hot water to come out of the bottom of the appliance.
