31. RISK OF INJURY! Unplug the appliance before cleaning it.
Clean the appliance very carefully.
32. RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! Only use the kettle with the
base supplied.
33. RISK OF INJURY! Always heat water with the lid closed. If
the lid is open, the automatic switch-off will not work. This may
cause boiling water to splash over the top of the kettle.
34. RISK OF INJURY! Hot steam may come out of the kettle. The
body of the kettle also gets very hot when in use. Please use
oven gloves.
35. RISK OF INJURY! Make sure that the appliance is upright
and stable before switching it on. Boiling water can cause an
unstable appliance to tip over.
36. RISK OF INJURY! Do not open the lid while the water is
boiling.
37. Do not fill the kettle above the 'Maximum' mark! A higher
water level could cause boiling water to splash out.
38. RISK OF BURNING! Do not tip the appliance backwards as
this may cause hot water to come out of the bottom of the
appliance.
