Maximum threshold:
The values for maximum response thresholds relate to different initial temperatures (tem-
perature during normal operation). It is therefore necessary to perform a hard reset com-
parison for the ADW 511A at ambient temperatures, which generally prevail during "normal
operations" (normal operating ambient temperature), in order to ensure a correct maximum
alarm response.
Thermal impact:
The applications listed in the previous table are subject to different thermal impact values
for sensor tube volume in the event of fire due to the surface areas monitored (pursuant to
country-specific directives) or on account of experimental values. Accordingly, the response
values in column (A) relate to the percentage of thermal impact for the entire sensor tube
volume as stated in column (V). If different thermal impact percentage rates are to be
expected due to the type of application or distribution of thermal impact in the event of fire,
response thresholds should be adjusted via a PC in accordance with Fig. 9 and Fig. 10.
This must only occur after consulting the manufacturer.
Delay:
The alarm (diff und max) will not be triggered until the alarm threshold has been exceeded
for longer than the set delay time.
