6.9. Temperature measurements
Warning!
To avoid electric shock, disconnect test leads from any source of voltage before making a temperature
measurement.
1. Slide the connector lock down to perform temperature measurement.
2. Set the rotary switch to TEMP position.
3. Select the desired measuring unit °C or °F by pressing MODE-button.
4. Insert the K-type thermocouple into the temperature socket (T1) and / or into the input socket
(T2) making sure to observe the correct polarity.
5. Touch the temperature probe head to the part whose temperature you wish to measure. Read
the temperature in the display.
6.
Press the Range/Peak-button to toggle between the following display combinations
Note:
In the case of an open measuring input or exceeded the measuring range "OL" is displayed in the
display.
