Current clamp
For measuring DC/AC current. The plus mark identifies the direction of flow of direct
current through the conductor placed in the clamp. The displayed value is positive.

Trigger
Press the lever to open the clamp. When the lever is released, the clamp will close
again.

HOLD/
- button
Press HOLD button to toggle in and out of the Data-Hold mode. In the Data-Hold mode,
the "HOLD" annunciator is displayed and the last reading is frozen on the display. Press
the HOLD button again to exit and resume readings.

Non-contact voltage detector
WARNING:
Risk of electric shock. Before use, always test the voltage detector on a known live place
(eg. electric socket) to verify proper operation.
1. Turn the function switch to any measurement function.
2. Hold the forceps tip of the point to be measured.
3. If AC voltage is present, the detector LED lights up red.
NOTE: The conductors in electrical cables are often twisted. For best results, move the
forceps tip along the cable, make sure that the tip is in the vicinity of the live conductor.
NOTE: The detector has been designed for high sensitivity. Static electricity or other
energy sources can trigger the sensor at random. This is normal and does not indicate
malfunction in the device.
