Warning messages
Temperature alarm
If the temperature in the freezer compart
ment rises above -12 °C and the frozen
food is at risk, the warning signal switches
on and the "alarm" display, Fig. 2/5,
flashes.
Power failure alarm
If the temperatures inside the appliance
have risen above -8 °C due to a power
failure, the warning signal switches on
and the alarm" display, Fig. 2/5, flashes.
The temperature display, Fig. 2/1,
also flashes and indicates the warmest
temperature reached during the power
failure.
Fault on the temperature
sensor" alarm
If the temperature warning signal sounds,
the alarm" display, Fig. 2/5, flashes and
the "SF" message is indicated on the tem
perature display, Fig. 2/1, the tempera
ture sensor is defective. Notify customer
service.

If this function is switched on, no settings
are possible via the control.
If the super" and alarm" buttons are
pressed simultaneously for approx.
3 seconds, the button lock is switched
on or off.

Switching off the appliance
Pull out the mains plug or switch off the
fuse.
Disconnecting
the appliance
If the appliance is not used for a prolonged
period:
1. Pull out the mains plug or switch off
the fuse.
2. Defrost and clean the appliance.
3. Leave chest freezer lid open.
