places with high friction. Remember that even if the
unit has rubber chains, you must be careful when
working in adverse weather conditions (ice, heavy
rain and snow) or on types of ground that may cause
the mini transporter to become unstable. Please note
that this is a chain vehicle that is subject to consider-
able pitching movements when driving over bumps,
holes and steps. When the clutch lever is released,
the machine stops and brakes automatically. If you
stop the machine on a steep slope, position a chock
in front of one of the chains.
Idle speed
Set the throttle (1) to the "SLOW" position to reduce
the load on the engine when not working. Lowering
the engine speed for idling the engine helps to ex-
tend the service life of the engine, save fuel and re-
duce the noise level of the machine.
Switching off the engine
Simply switch the engine switch (19) to "OFF" switch
to stop the engine in an emergency. Use the follow-
ing procedure under normal conditions.
1. Move the throttle lever (1) to the "SLOW" position.
2. Let the engine idle for a minute or two.
3. Simply switch the engine switch (19) to "OFF".
4. Turn the fuel valve (15) to the "OFF" position.
m Attention
Do not adjust the CHOKE (16) to stop the engine.
Misfiring or engine damage may occur.

11. Cleaning

m Attention!
Always shut the engine down and remove the spark
plug connector before carrying out any cleaning work.
We recommend that you clean the device directly af-
ter every use.
Clean the device at regular intervals using a damp
cloth and a little soft soap. Do not use any cleaning
products or solvents; they could attack the plastic
parts of the device. Make sure that no water can pen-
etrate the interior of the device.

12. Transport

m Attention
Before transport or parking indoors, allow the ma-
chine's engine to cool down to avoid burns and risk
of fire. If you want to transport the device, empty the
fuel tank beforehand. Clean coarse dirt from the de-
vice using a brush or a hand brush. Ensure that the
load is well secured when transporting the device in
a motor vehicle.

13. Storage

Store the device and its accessories in a dark, dry
and frost-free place that is inaccessible to children.
The optimum storage temperature lies between 5 and
30 ˚C.
Cover the tool to protect it from dust or moisture.
Store the operating manual with the tool.
Follow the steps below to store your machine if the
mini transporter will not be used for a period longer
than 30 days.
1. Empty the tank completely. Old fuel gums up and
can clog the carburettor and impede fuel flow. It
is best to use a hose to extract it into a suitable
container.
2. Close the fuel valve, start the engine and let it run
until it stops. This ensures that no fuel remains in
the carburettor. This prevents resin deposits from
forming in the carburettor, which could cause en-
gine damage.
3. Drain the oil from the engine while it is still warm.
Fill the engine with fresh oil of a suitable grade.
4. Use clean cloths to clean the outside of the ma-
chine and keep the ventilation slots free of ob-
structions.
m When cleaning plastic parts, do not use ag-
gressive cleaning agents or petroleum-based
cleaning agents. Chemicals can damage the
plastics.
5. Check for loose or damaged parts. Repair or re-
place damaged parts and tighten loose bolts or
nuts.
6. Store your machine on a level floor in a clean, dry
building with good ventilation.
m Do not store the machine with fuel in an un-
ventilated area where it can reach fuel vapours,
flames, sparks, pilot flames or other ignition
sources.

14. Maintenance

m Attention!
Always shut the engine down and remove the spark
plug connector before carrying out any maintenance
work.
Proper maintenance and lubrication will help keep
the machine in proper working condition.
Servicing
Switch off the engine and release all control levers.
The engine must have cooled down. Disconnect the
spark plug connector from the spark plug.
Check the general condition of the machine. Check
for loose screws, misalignment or jamming of mov-
