Edge and corner grinding (Fig. 12)
m Warning
Ensure that the product is switched off and discon-
nected from the mains when removing or replacing
the cover (12).
• To work on edges and corners, remove the cover
(12). To do this, press the tab (12a) downwards and
remove the cover (12).
• Before continuing to grind surfaces, refit the cover
(12). To do this, press and hold the tab (12a) and slide
the cover (12) back into its original position.
• Ensure that the cover (12) clicks into place on both
sides.

Switching the LED lamp on/off (Fig. 13)
Use the LED light (7) if necessary to ensure a well-lit
workplace:
• Switching on: Set the on/off switch (7a) to "I".
• Switching off: Set the on/off switch (7a) to "0".

After use

Switch off the product as described, disconnect it
from the power supply and allow it to cool down.

Clean and maintain the product as described be-
low and then store it carefully.
10. Cleaning, maintenance and repair
m Warning!
Remove the mains plug from the socket before
working on the power tool itself (e.g. transport, set
up, modification, cleaning and maintenance work)!
m Warning!
Wait until the device has cooled down completely!
Danger of burning!
10.1 Cleaning
• Keep protective devices, ventilation openings (10)
and the motor housing as free of dust and dirt as
possible.
• Wipe the power tool clean with a clean cloth or blow it
off with compressed air at low pressure (max. 3 bar).
• Clean the power tool immediately after each use.
• Do not use any cleaning products or solvents as
they could attack the plastic parts of the device.
Make sure that no water can penetrate the interior
of the device.
10.2 Maintenance
Before and after each use, check the power tool and
accessories (e.g. tool attachments) for wear and dam-
age. If necessary, replace them with new ones as de-
scribed in this operating manual. When doing so, ob-
serve the technical requirements.
m Warning!
There are no parts which can be serviced by the
user within the power tool! Do not open the pow-
er tool! Take it to a qualified specialist for further
maintenance work!
10.3 Repairs
10.3.1 Replacing the mains connection cable
If the mains connection cable for the electric tool is
damaged then it must be replaced by the manufacturer
or their customer services personnel or by a similarly
qualified person, in order to avoid hazards.
10.3.2 Grinding disc, brush edge
If the grinding disc (11b) and the brush edge (11c) are
damaged or badly worn, have them replaced by a qual-
ified specialist with new ones of the same type.
After repairs or maintenance, make sure that all safe-
ty-related parts are installed and are in perfect con-
dition. All parts which may cause injury must be kept
where they are inaccessible to children or others.
Attention: According to the German Product Liability
Act, no liability is accepted for damage caused by im-
proper repairs or by not using original spare parts.
Such work should be performed by a customer service
centre or an authorised specialist. The same applies to
accessory parts.
10.3.3 Service information
With this product, it is necessary to note that the follow-
ing parts are subject to natural or usage-related wear,
or that the following parts are required as consuma-
bles.
Wearing parts*: Carbon brushes, grinding disc, brush
head, sandpaper
* may not be included in the scope of delivery!
