Posture and placement in the bra

An upright or slightly reclined posture is ideal for expressing. In a very reclined position
there is a risk that the expressed milk could leak out. Expressing while lying down is not
possible as the expressed milk leaks out.
The Ardo Melia should not fit too tightly inside the bra, otherwise you risk affecting the
expressing of the breast milk. If the pump is pressing too hard against your breast, loosen
your bra straps. If necessary, you can also fit your nursing bra with the supplied bra strap
extensions (g).
Bra tips: Choose a bra made of a stretchy material. Ardo Melia will usually fit into a breast-
feeding bra better than into a normal bra. Some women who are breastfeeding find that a
bustier is better than a bra.
7. Stopping expressing
1. When you have finished expressing, press and hold the On/Off button until the
display goes out.
2. Take the Ardo Melia off the breast and hold it upright or stand it upright.
