11. Possible problems and troubleshooting
Weak or no vacuum:
• Ensure that the Ardo Melia is correctly assembled, in particular check whether the
rim of the breast shell (a) is fully pulled over the edge of the collection cup (f)
(press firmly into place with both hands). Also check whether the lip valve (h) is
correctly aligned.
• Ensure that the individual parts are not damaged, particularly the lip valve (h).
Pain when expressing:
• Ensure that the nipple is in the middle of the funnel.
• Check that the size of the breast shell (a) / breast shell insert (e) is right for your
nipples.
• Check that the vacuum intensity is not set too high.
• Contact a professional for help.
12. Warranty
There are legally prescribed minimum warranty periods from the date of purchase that are
specific for each country. The warranty coverage is limited to the first purchaser.
12.1. General terms and conditions
Ardo medical AG guarantees that its products are free of material and manufacturing
defects. The warranty period starts from the date of purchase. Defective materials are
replaced during the warranty period free of charge, provided that the warranty has not
been voided by improper use or access to the device. To ensure the warranty coverage and
flawless function of the device, the instructions for use must be followed and only Ardo
accessories used. The warranty is void if the device has been opened or manipulated.
