• When the Ardo Melia is in pause mode and no buttons are pressed for 5 minutes,
the breast pump automatically turns off.
• The Ardo Melia automatically turns off after 20 minutes of operation.
5. Rechargeable battery display and charging
the battery
The battery symbol on the display shows the rechargeable battery charge level. If only one
flashing bar is displayed, the battery is almost flat and needs to be charged. To do this,
please use the supplied charging cable and a suitable plug.
Ideally, use a plug with 5 volts and 1-2 amps output power (details on plug usually 5 V, 1-2
A) as this allows you to fully charge the pump in the fastest way possible (takes about 2
hours). Plugs with a lower power rating mean the pump takes longer to charge fully.
As soon as three constantly lit bars are displayed during charging, the battery is fully
charged. Now the pump has at least 100 min of expressing time. This duration may vary
depending on the selected mode and vacuum level set.
