IMPORTANT INFORMATION!
Lifejackets only reduce the risk of drowning. They are not guaranteed to save life. Full performance
may not be achieved using water proof clothing or in other circumstances. Refer to leafl et. Try out
the lifejacket to ascertain its performance before use. This is not a lifejacket until fully infl ated. For
use by swimmers.Train yourself in the use of this device. Do not use as a cushion. Inside the cover there
is a whistle which when the lifejacket is deployed will be readily accessible. An uninfl ated lifejacket
offers no safety to the wearer. If the gas mechanism fails the wearer must be aware of that he should
use the mouth infl ation tube to infl ate the lifejacket.The optional light is fi tted to the left hand side of
the infl ated lifejacket. The light is activated automatically upon immersion. The optional sprayhood is
located behind the neck inside the protective cover and deploys upon infl ation. Pull it over your head
and secure it by stretching the elastic loops over the infl ated chambers. Put on like a waistcoat as
the outermost garment. Secure the lifejacket with the front buckle and crutch strap buckle. Adjust
the waistband/crutch strap to be as tight as possible without being uncomfortable. The lifejacket can
be attached to certain sailing jackets using the three toggles. If using a safety harness the lifejacket
must be outermost. Temperatures lower than 5°C can prolong the infl ation time. When worn in
conjunction with a Baltic Sprayhood this lifejacket is suitable for all sea and temperature conditions
except for extreme arctic conditions. N.B. cold water conditions reduce survival times. The lifejacket
shall be inspected and serviced annually by a Baltic service station. Store the lifejacket in a well
ventilated dry area. The estimated life span for this product in normal use is 10 years.

OVERALL FUNCTION
The lifejackets are available in two versions - either with zipped protective cover or with a velcro en-
closed cover. Both opens automatically upon infl ation. The version with zipped cover can also manu-
ally be opened via the two quick release devices – one next to the gas infl ation mechanism
the other by the mouth infl ation tube
has an integrated infl atable lung which provides 165N of buoyancy when fully infl ated.
The lifejackets are available in two following infl ation systems:
AUTOMATIC INFLATION
The lifejackets infl ates automatically within 5 sec upon immersion. There is also a manual
activating cord
MANUAL GAS INFLATION
The lifejacket infl ates by pulling the activating cord on the bottom of the right hand side
