1. Description
The The EX-1177-2S is the origin of all 7-port metal hubs. It expands one USB 2.0 port of a
desktop or notebook computer into seven additional USB 2.0 ports and supports all USB
connections from 1.1 to 3.2. The included 5V/4A power supply provides 500mA at each port. The
EX-1177-2S guarantees secure data transfer at speeds of up to 480Mbps. It is very compact and
equipped with a robust metal housing. This makes it ideal for industrial applications. Thanks to its
intelligent design, the EX-1177-2S can be mounted on the wall, under a table or in a 19" rack using
the optional EX-6099 DIN rail kit. In addition the EX-1177-2S is equipped with a 15KV ESD USB
peak power surge protection. The EX-1177-2S is of the highest quality and is manufactured in
Taiwan.
