Monitor display
The monitor display in normal mode corresponds to the main display. It allows
reading the display values on the back of the units. In menu mode the display
represents a menu for the unit parameterization (see 'Parameterization').
Control
The units must be parameterized before they can be controlled. Parameterization
occurs in a menu (see 'Parameterization').

Counting functions
The signal inputs D2 and D1 are counting inputs. The following counting functions
are possible:
Signal inputs
Setting 1 in menu item 1
Setting 2 in menu item 1
Setting 3 in menu item 1
Setting 4 in menu item 1
If setting 1 is selected in menu item 1, the pulses arriving at input D1 will be counted.
With an L signal at input D2 pulses will be counted upward. With an H signal at input
D2 they will be counted downward [1].
If in menu item 1 setting 2 is selected, the pulses arriving at inputs D1 and D2 will be
counted upward independently one from the other [2].
