This section gives a brief summary of the auxiliary and demo applications that are on the
Support CD. The applications are described in detail in electronic form on the Support CD.
The Configurator is primarily intended for network configuration of the device.
The Device Finder is intended for detecting NRA devices and its IP addresses in the
network (this function is not available for USB).
NRA Tools is for activating new options by key code and managing firmware updates of the
device. Furthermore, external devices, antennas and cables can be added and configured.
The NRA Tools installation also includes the installation of the USB driver and NRA
Configurator.
The user interface provides direct access to the NRA Configurator for IP address
configurations.
For devices with activated Multi Channel Power Option, NRA Tools is useful to create and
transfer MCP tables.
The demo applications on the Support CD have the following features:
 They demonstrate the performance of the remote interface of the device.
 They help you in taking the first steps in familiarizing yourself with the device.
 Separate demo applications are available for each operating mode.
The web server is an integral part of the NRA device with the following functions:
 It enables communication with the device using a standard web browser.
 No PC application installation is required.
 It enables access to the HTML pages stored in the device.
 Java applets are being used.
 Web applications "NRA Web Terminal" and "NRA Live Display Viewer" based on Java
Applets and HTML.
 For web terminal Java "Version 7 Update 79" or previous version required.
NRA Series Narda
