12 Digitizing a record
12.1 Audio editing and recording software
Audacity is free software, licensed under the GNU General Public License (GPL).
More information and open-source code can be found on the website.
Download the software from:
12.2 Audacity computer setup
When using the Audacity for the first time, you may need to configure it to operate
with your setup.
The following information are suggestions, for the latest information, visit:

1. Navigate to Edit → Preferences.
2. Select the tab marked Audio I/O, then configure the following settings:
Preference
Playback → Device
Recording → Device
Recording → Channels
Play other tracks while recording new one
Software Playthrough (Play new track while recording)
12.3 Connect the turntable to a computer
1. Connect one end of the cable to the USB TO PC port on the product.
2. Connect the other end of the cable to a USB port on your computer.
3. Wait a few moments, your computer will set the product up as a new audio
device. You will receive notification when the product is successfully set up.
