9.3 Set the platter on the spindle
1. Check the drive belt is fully wrapped around the underside of the platter and
there are no twists.
2. Gently insert the center of the platter over the spindle, it should lay flat over the
deck.
9.4 Attach the drive belt to the motor pulley
The drive belt should stretch around the underside of the platter.
1. Rotate the platter to position the cut-out over the brass-coloured motor pulley.
2. Gently stretch the belt over the pulley, making sure there are no twists.
9.5 Place the felt mat over the platter

Using a felt mat has the following benefits:
