10.3 Adjust the anti-skate
The stylus should sit perfectly in the center of the groove when the record is spin-
ning.
Adjust the anti-skate to prevent the stylus from excessively pushing against the in-
side or outside of the groove.
If the anti-skate is not set correctly it can affect audio quality and damage the re-
cord and stylus.

1. Adjust the anti-skate control dial so that it matches the tracking force.
2. Listen carefully to a record to determine if more or less anti-skate is needed.
