9.6 Assemble the tonearm
Important:
– Do not touch the stylus with anything other than a stylus brush.
– Attach the included stylus guard when the turntable is not in use to prevent
accidental damage.
– Do not allow the stylus to bump against the platter, rubber mat, or edge of
the record.
– To protect the tonearm and headshell, place the tonearm on the rack and se-
cure it using the clamp until ready to use.
9.6.1 Attach the headshell to the tonearm

Screw the counter weight into the back of the tonearm as shown.

The tracking force gauge should face towards the tonearm.
