Switching on/shutting down the on-boardcomputer
Toswitchon theon-board computer,brieflypresstheOn/Off
button5. Theon-boardcomputercanalsobe switchedon
when it is notinsertedin the holder(if the internalbattery
packissufficientlycharged).
Toswitch off the on-board computer,press the On/Offbut•
ton 5.
Ifthe on-boardcomputeris notinsertedin theholder,it auto-
matically switchesoff after1 minuteto saveenergyif nobut•
ton is pressed.
If youarenot goingto be usingyour eBike for several
weeks,removethe on-boardcomputerfrom its mount.
Storetheon-board computerinadry environment a t room
temperature. Regularlyrecharge the on-board computers
battery(atleastevery3 months).
Battery Charge-controlIndicator
Thebatterycharge-control indicatori displays the chargelev-
el of theeBikebatterypack,notthat of theon-boardcomput-
er'sinternalbatterypack.Thechargelevelof theeBikebat-
tery packcanalsobe checked onthe LEDs of thebatterypack
itself.
Onindicatori, eachbarof the batterypacksymbolis equiva-
lentto a capacityof approx.20
TheeBikebatterypackis fully charged.
TheeBikebatterypackshouldberecharged.
TheLEDs of the charge-control indicatoronthe
batterypackextinguish. T hecapacityfor assisting
the drive has been used up, and assistance is gen-
tly switchedoff.Theremaining capacityis made
available for thelightingandthe on-board comput-
er. The indicator flashes.
Thecapacityof the eBikebatterypackis enough
forabout2 hoursof lighting.Thisdoesnotaccount
for otherconsumers (e.g.automaticgearbox,
charging external d evicesat the USBport).
Ifthe on-boardcomputeris removed fromthe holder4, the
lastdisplayedbatterychargelevelis saved.
If aneBikeis operatedwithtwo batterypacks,the battery
charge-control i ndicatori displays the levelof both battery
packs.
If aneBikehastwo batterypacksinsert-
ÉCedintoit andbothbattery packsare
KM charged on the bike, the charging pro-
gress of both batterypackswill be indi•
catedonthe display(theleft-handbat-
terypack isbeingchargedin the
illustration).Youcantell bytheflashing
indicatoron the batterypackwhichof
thetwo batterypacksis beingcharged.
Settingthe AssistanceLevel
Ontheoperatingunit9 youcansethowmuchthe eBikedrive
assistsyouwhilepedalling. T heassistance levelcanbe
changed at anytime,evenwhilecycling.
Note: Forindividual versions, it ispossible that the assistance
levelis pre-set a ndcannotbechanged. I t is alsopossiblethat
less assistance levels are available for selection than listed
here.
If the manufacturer h asconfigured the eBikewith "eMTB
Mode"andanIntuviaon-board computeris being usedonthe
bicycle, "eMTB Mode" will appear briefly on the displaywhen
the "SPORT" assistance level is selected. In "eMTB Mode" ,
the assistance factorandtorquearedynamically adjustedas
afunctionof theforceyouexertonthe pedals."eMTBMode"
is onlyavailablefor Performance LineCXdrives.
Thefollowingassistance levels(max.)areavailable:
"OFF" : The motor assistance isswitched off , andthe eBike
canbe moved asa normal b icycleonly bypedalling. T he
pushassistance cannotbeactivatedin this assistance
level.
- "ECO":Effectiveassistance at maximum efficiencyfor
maxlmum crulSlng range
- "TOUR":Uniformassistance, longcruising
- "SPORT"PeMTB":
"SPORT":Powerful a ssistance forsportiveridingoff road
as well as for urban traffic

"TURBO":Maximum assistance, supporting highestca-
dencefor sportiveriding
Toincreasetheassistance level,pressthe "+" 12 buttonon
theoperati n gunituntilthe desired assistance levelappears in
the display b. To decrease the assistance level, pressthe but-
ton 11.
The requested motor output is displayed in indicator a. The
maximum motor output depends on the selected assistance
level.
Whentheon-boardcomputeris removed fromthe holder4,
the lastindicatedassistance levelis stored;themotor-output
indicatora remains empty.
Interaction of the eBike Systemwith the BicycleGears
Thebicyclegearsshouldbe usedaswith a normal b icycle,
evenwitheaike motorassistance (please observe the operat-
inginstructionsof youreBike).
Independent o f the typeof gearing, i t is recommended to
briefly interruptthe pedalingwhilechanging gears.This
makeschanging gearseasierandreduces the wearof the
drive train.
Byselectingthe rightgear,youcanincreasethespeedand
rangewiththe samepedaling effort.

est visible, sélectionnez une vitesse supérieure offrant une
fréquence pédalage plusfaible.Sil'indicationh estvisible,sé-
lectionnezunevitesseinférieureoffrantunefréquencepéda-
lageplusélevée.
Allumer/éteindre Céclairagedu vélo
Sur lesmodéles oi l'éclairage estalimentéparlesystéme
eBike, les phares avant et arriére peuvent étre allumés et
éteints simultanément via l'ordinateur de bord å l'aide du bou-
ton 2.
Sur l'afficheur de texteapparaitpendant1s environ Feux
allumés» lorsde l'allumage del'éclairage et « Feuxéteints »
lorsde [extinctionde l'éclairage d. Quandl'éclairage estallu-
mé,le symbole cféclairage c s'affiche.
Lefait (fallumeroud'éteindreréclairage duvélo n'aaucune
incidencesur lerétro-édairage de Cécran.
Allumer/éteindre rassistancede poussée
L'assistance d e poussée Peutvousaiderå pousser levélo
électrique. La vitesse possible avec cette fonction dépend de
lavitessepassée et peutatteindre6 km/haumaximum. P lus
vouspassez unevitessebasse,moinsélevée seralavitessede
cettefonctioncrassistance depoussée(åpleinepuissance).
Lafonction d'assistancede pousséene doit étre utili-
séeque quandvous poussezlevé10électrique. Les
roues du vélo électrique doivent étre en contact avec le sol
lorsque rassistance de poussée estutilisée,sinonil ya
dangerde blessures.
Pour activer Cassistancede poussée, appuyez briévement
sur latouche WALK devotre ordinateurde bord.Aprés
l'activation. a ppuyezdansles3 secondes qui suiventsurla
touche + » et maintenez-la enfoncée. L'entrainement du vé-
10électriqueestactivé.
Note : Dans le niveau d'assistance OFF rassistance
poussée n'est pas activable.
L'assistance å lapoussée sedésactivedésquel'unedessi-
tuations suivantes se produit :
- Vous relåchez la 12,
- lesrouesduvélosebloquent(parex.lorsd'unfreinageou
d'uncontactavecunejambe),
- lavitessedevientsupérieureä6km/h.
Note : Surcertainssystémes. l 'assistance de poussée Peut
étre directement activée en appuyantsur la touche «WALK
