Warning :
Please do not overcharge batteries too often. To avoid the unwanted „memory
effect" which may reduce battery capacity drastically, use the batteries in the
radio from time to time, until they are really discharged, and do not recharge
the batteries too often after only short time of use. It is a good idea to have two
sets of rechargeable battery and to replace a battery set not before it is really
empty.

Operation

On and Off

Press the red marked on/off key foe about ½ second. This key is used for
switching off, too (keep pressed longer, about 2 seconds). After switching on,
the radio shows the actual channel and subcode numbers (if selected) as the
most important settings. Default setting is CH 1 and no subcode selected.
Direct access one-touch keys and functions
All function keys (except MODE) are accessible directly according to their
inscriptions. More functions are available via successive pressing of the MODE
key (menu functions)
If you use your radio only at a fixed location, you may
operate the radio by external power supply without batteries
inserted. Make sure that the charge switch is in the OFF
position. We recommend to take out batteries, if the radio will
not be used over a longer time period, or if it will only be
operated by external power supply.
Never switch the CHARGE switch to ON, if You are using
non-rechargeable standard Alkaline batteries!
