connect the wall adapter or mobile adapter cable to the DC 12 V socket on the
rear side of the radio and switch the CHARGE switch to ON.
Please allow new rechargeable batteries about 10-14 hours charging time prior
to first use. New Nickel Cadmium or NiMH batteries do not provide their full
capacity initially. This is normal, and after 2-3 charging cycles the batteries will
provide their full capacity. During charging, the LED in the display will be on.
Fresh batteries and fully charged NiCD / NiMH batteries show
dsiplay, while nearly exhausted batteries produce only 1 bar in the display icon
.
Fully discharged batteries will cause the battery Icon flashing. Please recharge
fully discharged NiCD / NiMH batteries and remove exhausted not
rechargeable batteries immediately. Empty Alkaline batteries may leak and
cause damage of The radio by corrosion.
If NiMH or NiCd batteries are inserted,
they may be charged with the supplied
wall charger within appr. 14 hours
standard charging time for 700 mAh
