Disassembly of flanges and gaskets
• After an exchange of flanges or gaskets, the technical characteristics will be outside the specifications, the instrument will measure with slightly
reduced accuracy. The error rate can be max. 3 mbar, this is independent form the measuring range.
• The specifications shown in technical data sheets can only be accomplished in the regular manufacturing process.
The reason is a lack of conditions available in normal production, such as controlled temperature, adjusted air pressure, constant air humidity.
• Follow exactly the description in order to minimize the measured error.

Clean both gaskets carefully and insert them into the respective sealing grooves.
Clean both O-Rings carefully, no sealing surface may be damaged or show any marks or dents.
Clamp the flanges tight and parallel to the measuring cell, take care that the gaskets and O-ring do not slide out of position.
Depending on the gaskets and service the screws were secured with lock washers or special screws, covered with glue, are used.
It is recommended to use new screws, because the glue can be activated once only.
If the original screws are used again, it is necessary to place lock washers between the flanges and the nuts.
Tighten the screws alternately in a crosswise manner. Please observe the tightening torques and holding time listed in the following table.
Secure the screwed connection with locking varnish.
