Use the tone control (sliding switch on the
front, see Fig. 1) to adjust the tone.
Note:
The tone control will not function unless the
amplifier is switched on.

Switch to reset the telephone volume

There is a switch on your telephone that au-
tomatically resets the volume to the original
level when you hang up the receiver. This
means that people who don't need the am-
plification can use the telephone without
having to worry that the volume may be too
loud and hurt their ears. To select this as the
normal mode, set the switch
of the telephone to "OFF".
If you are the only one who uses the tele-
phone or you would like to deactivate the
reset function, move the switch
back of the telephone to the "ON" position.
Now the volume will not be reset when you
hang up and all your settings will be active
for your next telephone call.

Using the telephone with a hearing aid

You can use your telephone with hearing
aids that are equipped with a telephone coil
(T-coil). To do so, set the selection switch
on your hearing aid to "T" or "MT". When
using the telephone, please be sure to hold
the receiver as close to your hearing aid as
possible.
Mute (
During a telephone call, you can also tem-
porarily switch off the telephone microphone
so that the person you are talking to can no
longer hear you.
Simply press the key

Inserting a dialing pause (PABX)

Press
for a preset time.
