MIRROR CARE AND CLEANING
WITHOUT FRAME / WITH METAL FRAME / WITH LACQUERED FRAME / WITH
LACQUERED ELEMENTS
The mirror used for this product is made to the highest standards of quality and
durability, for rooms with high humidity levels like bathrooms.
Glass is a solid, resistant, easy-care material. Follow the guidelines given in this
document to keep your mirror clean and sparkling for years to come.
1. Read the labels on chemical cleaners and detergents carefully and follow the
instructions scrupulously.
2. Do not use products containing derivatives of hydrofluoric acid, fluorine, chlorine
or ammonia to avoid damaging any decoration and/or the surface of the glass.
3. Do not use very acidic or very alkaline products, which may corrode the surface
of the glass.
4. Do not wash decorative glass for interiors while it is exposed to direct sunlight or
is near a source of heat. Avoid washing it when the ambient temperature is too hot
or too cold.
5. Always check the condition of the cloths, squeegees and any other tools used for
cleaning.
SPECIAL CLEANING
Should ordinary cleaning not be sufficient to clean the front glass on the mirror,
follow these instructions for special cleaning:
• Remove any oily or organic marks using a solvent such as rubbing alcohol, applying
it with a soft cloth that does not leave streaks. The solvent must never come into
contact with the painted or silvered back of the decorative glass. Should this
happen, it may cause stains not attributable to a defect of the material.
• Rinse thoroughly and then follow the instructions for ordinary cleaning.
* Please contact our dedicated personnel at Devon&Devon should you have any
doubts about ordinary or special cleaning of your mirror.
