Commissioning
Only put the device into operation when you have become familiar
with the features and these operating instructions. Check all con-
nections for correctness once again.
Do not listen to excessively loud music for long periods of time as
your hearing may be impaired. This applies in particular to listen-
ing to music through headphones.
Switching mixer on/off
When switching he mixer on and off, non-observance of the order
described in the following could damage the loudspeakers or the
amplifier.
Switching on
• Make sure that all channel faders are set to the minimum volume (channel fader
right down).
• First switch on the reproduction devices which are connected to the mixer.
• Switch on the mixer using the switch "POWER"(1). The operating indicator will light
up.
• Switch on the connected amplifier and the recording device (connected to the
REC jacks). This device is now ready for operation.
Switching off
• To switch off the mixer, turn the volume of the amplifier first of all to minimum.
• Switch off the amplifier.
• Then switch off the mixer using the mains switch POWER (24) and then the repro-
duction devices (record player, CD player etc.).
• If you do not require the mixer for a longer period, pull out the plug-in power unit
from the socket.

Select input

Select the desired inputs using the input selection switches (19).
Minimise the volume using the corresponding channel fader
before an input selection switch is changed over. Due to the dif-
ferent volumes of the input sources, sudden, excessive volume
could otherwise be the result.
