(19) Input selection switch
Using the switches, you can select between the individual inputs of the channels
CH1, CH2 and CH3.
Example:
If the switch of the channel CH2 "PHONO-LINE/CD" is in the position PHONO, it
means that the signal of the record-player on the jacks PHONO 2 is directed to the
channel CH-2. The LINE2 input is not reproduced in this switch position. For repro-
duction of the LINE 2 input, the input selection switch "PHONO-LINE/CD" has to be
switched to position LINE/CD.
Minimise the volume using the corresponding channel fader
before an input selection switch is changed over. The GAIN con-
trol may have to be turned back. Due to the different volumes of
the various input sources, sudden, excessive volume could other-
wise be the result.
(20) Microphone input
The DJ microphone can be connected to this input. The microphone input is
equipped with a special jack. Either a 6-3-mm jack bushing (unsymmetrical) can be
inserted or an XLR plug (symmetrical).
(21) Recording level indicator
The recording level indicator supplies information about the input or output level.
The indicator should not exceed the "0dB" value as otherwise distortion of the
music signal can occur. The indication is separate for each channel. The left instru-
ment indicates the recording level of the left channel, the right instrument the record-
ing level of the right channel.
Depending on the MONITOR control (6), the level of the input (CUE) or the output sig-
nal (PGM) is displayed.
For display of the input signal, the CUE switch (12) of the corresponding channel
must be switched on in addition.
(22) CH1 MIC input
An additional microphone can be connected to this 6-3-mm jack bushing.
The CH1 MIC input is pending at the FADER channel CH1.
(23) CH1 PHONO input
A record player can be connected to this unsymmetrical stereo cinch input. The CH1
PHONO input is pending at the FADER channel CH1.
The jacks PHONO are intended exclusively for record-players with magnet systems
and possess a corresponding equaliser pre-amplifier.
