17.8 Missing characters

Characters are missing in printed text (see A).

The problem is caused by fonts that do not support the required character set.
If the pre-installed system fonts do not supported the required character set, you can externally load different types of fonts. See "Technical data" for details.
1. Select a different font from the font selection menu (see B).
2. If the missing characters remain, load a custom font.
3. Copy the font to a USB drive.
4. Connect the USB drive to the printer.
5. Click "Font" and select "External Font".
6. Load the font.
