16.2 Modes and print start signals
The printer operates in one of two operation modes:
Encoder mode
Timer mode
Operation modes can be combined with 4 print trigger types:
Manual switch (key)
Photoelectric switch (compatible photoelectric sensor)
Distance switch (distance) [ must be paired with encoder ]
Timed re-spray (timer) [ must be paired with timer mode ]
Different mode/trigger type combinations allow you to adapt the printer to your operational needs.

1. In the menu, go to "Settings > Print".
2. Set the "Sync Mode" to "Encoder".
3. Under "Start signal" select the required start signal that triggers the print job.
4. Perform further configurations as available and required.
The printer is ready to print.
