16.5 Configuring the nozzle

The printer uses thermal foaming technology. Foaming technology generates bubbles by instantly heating the ink, which propels the droplets for spraying.
The nozzle voltage is set for the following reasons (the default voltage is 9V):
Different ink formulations, such as water-based and oil-based, have varying sensitivities to heat. Those with higher sensitivity require a higher voltage to ensure complete
spraying.
In low-temperature environments, the ink fluidity is poor. A higher voltage is needed to ensure that bubbles form efficiently.
If the ink cartridge is not tightly held in place by the retaining clip, air can enter and block the nozzle. Air can cause printing to be blurry and disconnected. By increasing the
nozzle voltage, the ink can be fully sprayed.
Adjust the nozzle voltage (default 9V)
Adjust the pulse width
(1 - 4 µs)
Adjust the concentra-
tion of the ink jet (1-9). A
higher value results in a
higher concentration.
Set DPI (300/400/600)

Set the idle spray time. The default is 0s and is
often used in the assembly line.
You can select the left, right or
both nozzles. If one nozzle is
blocked, you can switch to the
other to continue working.
