Safety Information
Statement of Use
• For professional use only.
• This product and its accessories must not be modified in
any way.
• Do not use this product if it has been damaged.
• If the product data or hazard warning signs on the product
cease to be legible or become detached, replace without
delay.
• The product must only be installed, operated and serviced
by qualified personnel in an industrial environment.

Intended Use

This product is designed to enable wireless communication
between the Power Focus 6000/8 and the Mechatronic
Wrench (MWR/MTR). Indoor use only. No other use permit-
ted.

The tool designation can be checked on the identification la-
bel shown in the figure below:

Electrical Safety

WARNING This apparatus must be earthed. Applica-
ble only to Class I (earthed) equipment.
• Earthed equipment must be plugged into a socket that
has been installed correctly and earthed according to
appropriate regulations. Never remove the earth pin
or modify the plug in any way. Do not use any adapter
plugs. Check with a qualified electrician if you are in any
doubt as to whether the outlet is earthed correctly. Should
the equipment suffer electronic malfunction or break-
down, the earth provides a low resistance path to carry
electricity away from the user.
• Disconnect from the power supply before servicing.
• Failure to comply with these operating instructions may
impair the safety of this equipment.
• Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric
shock.
• Must not be used in explosive atmospheres.
• Avoid physical contact with grounded surfaces such
as pipes, radiators, ovens and refrigerators. There is
an increased risk of electric shock if your body is
grounded.
• Do not expose the equipment to rain or wet condi-
tions. Water entering the equipment will increase the risk
of electric shock. This instruction does not apply to
equipment classified as watertight or splash proof.

• For minimum electrical interference, locate the equip-
ment as far as possible from sources of electrical noise,
for example arc welding equipment et cetera.
• We strongly advise to use the cables supplied with the
product which has been tested for safety. Do not modify
the cables or use them for other purposes. In case of dam-
age, always replace by certified cables with same electri-
cal rating. Use of none-certified cables may result in elec-
tric shock, fire, property damage or serious injury and is
likely to affect or cancel product regulatory compliance

Cyber Security

WARNING Risk of system control loss and exposure
of proprietary data
Do not install the product with a direct interface or
connection to a Public Network outside the control
of the user of this product, as for example Internet.
Make sure that systems connected to the product are
under your full control. Make sure that these inter-
faces and systems are protected by security fire-
wall(s) with relevant and appropriate physical and
digital authentication, access control and other nec-
essary security measures applied in the product's en-
vironment, for example digital network, to securely
access and operate the product.
The product shall be isolated from those parts of the
network(s) that are not designed or required for the
product.
Make sure that all software and firmware used with
the product are regularly updated to the latest secure
versions provided by the manufacturer.
Limit access to the product only to those individuals
who require it for operational purposes. Make sure
that these individuals are trained in cybersecurity
best practices.
Monitor network traffic to and from the product for
any unusual activity that may indicate a security
breach or attempted intrusion.
WARNING In Case of a Suspected Security Breach
Immediately report the incident to your internal IT or
cybersecurity team.
Isolate the product from the network to prevent fur-
ther damage or unauthorized access.
Collect information about suspicious activity, as for
example system logs, recent access, or unauthorized
changes, to support investigation.
Contact the product manufacturer's technical support
for assistance in managing the incident and receiving
further guidance.
WARNING
This product complies with RED-DA-2022/30 from
firmware version 2.3.1/1.8.0 onwards.
WARNING
To ensure compliance with RED-DA-2022/30, establish-
ment of a password is mandatory.
