2.5 Particular hazards

The dangers resulting from the risk assessment are presented in the following section.
To minimize potential health hazards and prevent dangerous situations, the safety instructions
listed below and the warning instructions in the following chapters of these Operating
Instructions must be observed.
Noise
WARNING!
Damage to hearing caused by noise!
The noise arising in the work area can cause serious damage
to the hearing.

Glass dust, shards and sharp edges
WARNING!
Danger due to glass dust, shards and sharp edges!
During the controlled removal of glass from the vehicle, glass dust, shards
of glass and sharp edges are produced, which can lead to serious injuries.

Also wear ear defenders during any special kinds of work that cause
noise.
Only wear the ear defenders while you are in the danger area.
Always wear full protective equipment as specified in chapter 2.4 during
the work.
Always wear a FFP3 class dust mask when sawing and cutting laminated
glass. Replace this after each use.
Immediately cover sharp edges and areas with shards with appropriate,
cut-resistant protective covers.
