2.2 Operator responsibility
In addition to the occupational safety information in these operating instructions, the safety,
accident prevention and environmental prevention regulations applicable to the operation site
of the appliance must also be observed. Thereby, the following applies in particular:
•
The operator must inform himself regarding the applicable occupational safety
regulations and carry out a risk assessment to identify additional dangers arising
from the special work conditions at the operation site of the appliance.
•
The operator must clearly regulate and determine responsibility for installation,
maintenance and cleaning.
•
The operator must ensure that all persons engaged with the appliance have
completely read and understood the operating instructions.
•
Furthermore, he must train the personnel at regular intervals and inform them
of the dangers associated with handling the appliance.
The operator is also responsible for ensuring that the equipment is always in a technically
flawless condition. Therefore, the following applies:
•
After each time the glassmanagement equipment is used, or at least once a year,
a visual inspection and functional check of the glassmanagement equipment by an
instructed person is required.
Only use the products for the intended
uses described above.
