• Never put the power cord on hot surfaces or do not let it hang over the edge of a table
or a work top. Plugging or pulling the power cord e.g. by children can result in tilting over
or drawing the appliance down and serious injury!
• The power cord must not be damaged with sharp or hot objects, open fire, it must
not be sunk into water or bent over sharp edges.
II. DESCRIPTION OF THE APPLIANCE

III. PREPARATION FOR USE
Before first use, remove all packaging and protective materials from the appliance and
accessories, including films. Wash the water tank A6 with warm soapy water, rinse
thoroughly, and allow it to dry. Then return it to the coffee maker and push it firmly into place.
Before use
– Place the appliance on a flat and stable surface, away from water and heat sources.
– Remove the water tank, rinse it, and fill it with drinking water.
– Return the tank to the appliance and connect the appliance to the mains.
– The appliance is now ready for use.
Filling with water
Remove the water tank A6, take off the lid A7, and fill the tank with water
(ideally at room temperature, between MIN and MAX) and return it to its place.
IV. USING THE APPLIANCE
• When using for the first time, flush the appliance without a capsule (hot water mode
and with an empty adapter G), using at least one full tank A6.
• The coffee maker will automatically switch off after approximately 9 minutes
of inactivity; reactivate it by pressing any of the buttons B1–B3.
• Without the drip tray, the maximum cup height is approximately 10–12 cm.
• Do not use the appliance without water or without a capsule (except when flushing).
• Insert only compatible capsules! Capsules are intended for single use only.
