Water tank (A6)
It is recommended to wash it weekly with dishwashing detergent and rinse it thoroughly.
To prevent limescale buildup, rinse the tank daily under running water.
Drip tray and grid (A4 + A5)
Pour the drip tray as required. Wash parts A4 and A5 with a conventional dishwashing
detergent, rinse with clean water and allow to dry.
Descaling
If the coffee preparation time is significantly prolonged, the coffee machine's water system must
be cleaned of lime and mineral deposits (scale). Said deposits may be removed with a water
solution with a formulation intended for this purpose (e.g. ETA518000201). Always follow the
manufacturer's instructions for the product, which are usually on the packaging.
Depending on the water hardness and the frequency of use of the coffee machine,
remove scale regularly (recommended at least once a month). The procedure is as follows:
1. Remove and empty the drip tray.
2. Fill it with descaling solution according to the manufacturer's instructions (diluted with
water).
3. Return the drip tray to its place.
4. Switch on the appliance and place a container under the coffee outlet.
5. Press the brewing button and dispense two servings (~150 ml each).
6. Leave the descaling solution to work for 15–20 minutes.
7. Then start dispensing again – repeat until the tank is completely empty.
8. Remove the tank, rinse it thoroughly with clean water, and refill it with fresh water.
9. Return it to its place and dispense the entire content – this will rinse the internal system.
10. Repeat the rinsing procedure with clean water if necessary.
After completion, the descaling cycle is finished and the appliance is ready for use.

intervention in the inner parts of the appliance must be

or electronic products must not be disposed together with municipal wastes. Please,
hand them over to the collection points designed for their correct disposal, where they
will be accepted free of charge. By correct disposal of this product you can help to
preserve valuable natural resources and help to prevent possible negative impacts to the
environment and to human health, which could be the results of incorrect waste disposal.
